How to get your POK credential in Moodle
When you finish a Moodle course that issues POK Proof of Knowledge credentials, you claim your certificate through the "POK Certificate" activity inside the course. Open the activity, complete any missing profile information, and you will receive your credential by email.
1. Find the "POK Certificate" activity
In Moodle, look for the POK Certificates activity inside your course.
- If the activity is visible and enabled, go to the next step.
- If it is not enabled, the course may have restrictions you still need to meet, such as pending activities, a specific date, or other prerequisites set by the course. Once you meet them, the activity is enabled automatically. Moodle shows these requirements below the activity.
2. Review and complete your profile
When you open the "POK Certificate" activity, the system checks whether your profile has all the required information.
If any data is missing:
- A prompt appears listing the fields you need to complete.
- Fill in the requested information directly from the activity.
- Save your changes to continue.
3. Receive your credential
Once your profile is complete, POK sends your credential by email in two steps:
- First, you receive an email asking you to accept the credential.
- Then, you receive a second email with your credential in digital format.

Useful tips
- Verify your email address: make sure the email address in your profile is correct and active, since your credential is sent there.
- Check your spam or promotions folder: if the emails are not in your inbox, they may have been filtered as spam.
- Meet the course restrictions: if you cannot open the "POK Certificate" activity, check the course for pending assignments that may be blocking access.
By following these steps you will receive your POK credential without trouble. Enjoy your achievement and share it with your professional network.
