Employability: measure the real impact of your credentials

The Employability section shows the real impact your credentials have on your recipients' careers. It connects the credentials you issue with what happens on LinkedIn afterwards, so you can measure the value your programs create, not just how many credentials you sent.

What Employability shows​

At the top of the section you will find summary metrics:

  • LinkedIn Credentials: how many of your credentials reached LinkedIn.
  • LinkedIn Posts: credentials shared in a LinkedIn post.
  • Added to LinkedIn Profile: credentials added to recipients' LinkedIn profiles.
  • Jobs Generated: the new jobs and promotions that happened after a credential was shared, split into New Job and Promotions.
  • Average Impact Time: the average number of days between sharing a credential and the job change or promotion.

The impact table​

Below the metrics, a table lists each recipient and the impact linked to their credential. Its columns are:

  • Date: when the credential was issued.
  • Design: the design used for the credential.
  • Achiever: the recipient's name.
  • Previous Experience: the recipient's role and company before the credential.
  • Job Generated: the new role and company after sharing the credential.
  • Impact: whether it was a new job or a promotion.
  • Social Media: links to the recipient's LinkedIn profile and the shared post.

You can narrow the table to find exactly what you need:

  • Search Achiever: find a specific recipient by name.
  • Design, Title, and Year: filter by the credential's design, title, or issuance year.
  • Show only shared posts: keep only the credentials that were shared in a LinkedIn post.

Availability​

Employability is a premium feature. If it is not enabled for your account, the section shows how to activate it so you can start measuring the real impact of your credentials on LinkedIn. To turn it on, contact your account executive.
