General metrics: how far your credentials traveled after you sent them
General metrics answers one question: after you sent a credential, what actually happened to it. How many recipients accepted it, how many times it was downloaded or shared, which wallets and networks people used, and which countries and cities it was viewed from.
General metrics, which POK's own screens call "Marketing Analytics", is a premium feature enabled per organization. To turn it on, talk to your account executive or write to contact@pok.tech.
Open General metrics
- Go to Home, the page you land on right after logging in.
- Next to "Your activity in POK", click "See general metrics". Or, in the box below it, click "Go to metrics".
- At the top of the page, use the days filter to choose "Last 7 days", "Last 30 days" or "Last 365 days". Every number, graph, map and city breakdown on the page is scoped to whatever you pick here.
Administrators, operators and readers can all open General metrics.
The headline numbers
Right under the days filter, three figures summarize the period you selected:
- Accepted credentials, shown against how many you sent.
- Downloads, shown against how many were accepted.
- Shared, shown against how many were accepted.
Sent counts every credential you issued in the period, across your Web basic, Blockchain Verify and Blockchain NFT kinds. Accepted only counts the ones the recipient has actually accepted, so it is normal for it to sit below what you sent, especially right after a send. Downloads and shares are both compared against accepted, not sent, so both ratios shrink further while acceptance is still catching up.
The Credentials and Interaction graphs
Below the map, a bar chart labeled "Analysis" lets you switch views with a dropdown: "Interaction" (shown by default) and "Credentials". A refresh icon next to the label reloads the chart. Bars are grouped by day for the 7 and 30 day windows, and by month for the 365 day window. Hovering a bar breaks it down further, with a "Total" line whenever more than one segment has data for that period.
Credentials shows two bars per period, "Sent" and "Accepted". Hovering either one splits it by credential kind: "Sent (free)", "Sent (NFT Ownership)", "Sent (Verify)", and the matching "Accepted (free)", "Accepted (NFT Ownership)", "Accepted (Verify)".
Interaction is the most detailed view, and this is where the real breakdown lives. It counts:
- Views: visits to the credential.
- Downloads, broken down by format: Google Wallet, Apple Wallet, PDF and PNG downloads, Europass, JSON-LD, CLR and Blockcerts.
- Shared, broken down by network: Shared on LinkedIn, Added to LinkedIn profile, WhatsApp, Facebook, X, Telegram and Email.
Visitors by country and city
Below the headline numbers, a world map colors each country by its share of visits relative to the country with the most: darker means more visits, and a country with none stays a neutral grey. Hovering a country shows its name and visit count. The ranked list beside the map lists every country with visits, highest first.
The "Visitors by city" panel below ranks cities the same way. It shows up to twelve at a time; if there are more, a "See more" link opens a list of every city, with a "Search city" box and columns for city, share and visitors ("No results found for your search." if nothing matches the search). Visits POK could not resolve to a city are grouped under "Not identified" instead of being dropped. Before any credential gets a visit, the panel reads "No city visits yet" and "When your credentials start getting visits, you'll see the city breakdown here."
Both the map and the city panel count views only, not downloads or shares.
The downloadable report
The "Report" button, next to the page title, downloads a CSV file as soon as you click it, with no dialog in between. It covers the same period you have selected in the days filter at the top of the page.
More metrics
The panel on the left links out to four more sections:
- Employability: the career impact of the credentials you issued.
- Pages: how your custom credential pages perform.
- Learning paths: metrics for the learning paths you built.
- Bulk Sends: open a specific bulk send and, with Marketing Analytics on, its own page shows the same kind of dashboard (accepted, downloads, shares and views) scoped to that send.

A chart or panel looks empty
- General metrics is not enabled for your organization. The section does not open, and you land back on Home.
- Nothing happened yet in the selected window. Widen the days filter to 30 or 365 days before assuming something is broken.
- You are looking at views, not shares or downloads. The map and the city panel only count visits to the credential. A credential that was downloaded or shared can still be missing from both if nobody separately visited it.
- The visit could not be resolved to a city. It is counted under "Not identified" rather than disappearing, so a large "Not identified" share does not mean the data is wrong.
The numbers look lower than I expected
- Check the days filter first. Every number on the page, including the headline figures, the graphs and the map, is scoped to the "Last 7/30/365 days" selector at the top. A narrow window is the most common reason a number looks low.
- Accepted is not the same as sent. A credential counts as sent the moment you issue it, but only counts as accepted once the recipient completes accepting it.
- Downloads and shares are counted against accepted, not sent, so both figures look smaller still while acceptance is catching up.
